What should we expect on our first evening at Heroes Camp? +
Doors open at 6:00 PM each evening. When you arrive, our team will greet you at the main entrance and direct you to the check-in table. There, our Check-In Team will get your child(ren) checked in and provide them with a bag filled with goodies and important information for the week, along with helpful information for parents.
What will be expected of my kids at camp? +

We believe the best ministry happens in relationship! Because of this, all kids will be placed in a "team" (small group) of 5-6 students of similar age and gender. Each team is led by an adult leader and a youth or adult co-leader who will provide intentional discipleship throughout the entire camp experience.

There will be lots of fun, but kids are expected to show honor and respect to their leaders and peers throughout the evening.

If a child is unable to meet these expectations, a parent or guardian may be asked to return to the building to connect with a member of our team and determine the best next steps for the week.

How does drop-off + pick-up work? +
At the beginning of camp, parents will receive a household lanyard that will be needed to enter the building during pick-up. Without this lanyard, our security team will not allow you to enter the building. Drop-off and pick-up take place in Beyond Church lobby each night. Whoever is picking up your child must have your household lanyard, or a picture of it.
What is a typical evening of Heroes Camp like? +
Each night will be fun-packed & filled with praise and worship, teaching, games, dramas/skits, and time where kids will encounter the Word of God and the presence of God and be equipped to live as heroes of faith in their everyday lives.
Who are the volunteers that will be present during the camp? +
All of our volunteers are currently on the Serve Team at Beyond Church. Each volunteer must go through an application process, which includes completion of our Starting Point class, attending our Heroes Camp training rally, and completing a background check.
My child has additional needs. Can they attend Heroes Camp? +
It's our desire for all children to be able to attend Heroes Camp! On the registration form, please indicate anything we should know and our team will reach out to learn how we can partner with your family!
Are parents allowed to stay at the building while camp is happening? +

Yes! We will have a designated area in the main sanctuary for parents who would like to stay during camp. Please note that small groups will take place in classrooms throughout the building, so due to limited space, parents will be asked to remain in the sanctuary during that time.

You are welcome to drop off or stay - either option works!
