WHAT TO EXPECT

We sing for a while, someone teaches from the Bible in plain language, and we're done by noon. Wear whatever you're comfortable in, and the coffee's on us.

If it's your first Sunday, stop by the Connections Center in the lobby. We'd love to meet you and put a name to a face before you head out.

YOUR KIDS

Beyond Kids meets during the service for ages 0 through 5th grade. Every volunteer is background-checked, check-in is secure, and you'll get a matching tag so only you can pick your child up. If your kid would rather stay with you, that's welcome too.

MORE ABOUT JESUS

We didn't give away ice cream all summer because we love ice cream. We did it because God loves you - and we'd rather you hear that than not.

WHY DO I NEED JESUS?

The Bible says every one of us has sinned. We've all made choices that separated us from God.

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.Romans 3:23

The good news is that God didn't wait for us to get our lives together first.

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.Romans 5:8

Jesus took our place on the cross, paid for our sin, died, and rose again - so that we could have forgiveness, peace with God, and eternal life.

WHAT DOES GOD WANT FROM ME?

He isn't asking you to become perfect before you come to Him. He's inviting you to trust Jesus with your life.

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.Romans 10:9

Salvation isn't something we earn. It's a gift we receive by faith. You can begin a relationship with Jesus today - not by getting the words right, but by meaning them.

Pray this from your heart

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I know I have sinned, and I need Your forgiveness. Thank You for dying on the cross for me and rising again. Today I turn to You. I place my trust in You. Forgive me, make me new, and help me follow You for the rest of my life. Thank You for loving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen.

WHAT'S NEXT?

2 Start reading the Gospel of John. It's the best first look at who Jesus actually is. A few paragraphs a day is plenty.
