Do This In Remembrance Of Me

Apr 5, 2026    Pastor Nate Schlegel

What would you say if you had one last moment with the people you love?

In Jesus’ final moments with His disciples, knowing the cross was ahead of Him, He chose to give them something powerful and simple: “Do this in remembrance of Me.”

This message dives deep into the meaning of communion—not as a ritual, but as a reminder of everything Jesus accomplished through His body and His blood.

From the Passover in Exodus to the Last Supper, we see a powerful connection: Jesus is the Lamb who was given for us. His blood wasn’t just symbolic—it brought forgiveness, freedom, and a new covenant.

In this message, we unpack what it really means to:

  •  Remember what Christ has done

  •  Recognize Jesus as the Lamb of God

  •  Receive the forgiveness and freedom His blood paid for

  •  Proclaim the victory we now have through Him

Too many people are still carrying shame for something Jesus already paid for.

Sin makes you guilty—but shame makes you hide.

But because of Jesus, you’ve been brought near, made new, and given access to the Father.

You are not who you were.

You are forgiven.

You are free.

So the question is…Will you remember?
