The Gift of Serving
For those serving in a local church, a good attitude that needs to be highlighted in our church culture is, “I get to serve”.
Sometimes we need to be reminded what a tremendous blessing and strength the local church is to us. Just imagine what your life, your family’s lives would look like without being a part of THE CHURCH - the place God calls the “pillar and stay of Truth in the earth”.
Church and serving is not something we have to do, it is something we get to do. Truly, what an honor it is that God chose us to be here for such a time as this and to connect us with those in the body with the same spirit of faith and true desire to love God and serve Him by serving people, and to be in that kind of atmosphere contributing to the building up of Christ’s body in every way.
GOD CHOSE YOU to be this person! As with anything in our lives, what we become unthankful for, we lose honor for and forfeit the precious supply of what God intended for us. We, at Beyond Church say not here, and not us! We notice. We acknowledge. We are thankful that God found us, chose us and set us in our place of flourishing, and we serve Him well by serving others for His glory!.
. .that you may know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and stay (the prop and support) of the Truth. 1 Timothy 3:15
